If you gamble online from Canada, Interac e-Transfer is the method most likely to just work. It is the country’s own bank-to-bank transfer rail, it is built into the online banking you already use, and it does not depend on a foreign card issuer deciding whether to approve a gambling transaction.
That last point matters more than it sounds. Canadian cardholders regularly see credit card deposits declined at offshore casinos because the issuer blocks the merchant category. An Interac transfer is a payment you authorise inside your own bank, which is why it is the default choice for most Canadian players and why every operator serious about this market supports it.
All eight casinos we review accept Interac in both directions. That is unusual — most payment methods on this site are supported by some brands and not others. Below is exactly what each one publishes, plus how the method behaves in practice.
Interac e-Transfer is operated by Interac Corp., the Canadian company behind the debit network you use at checkout. An e-Transfer sends money from your bank account to a recipient using an email address or phone number as the address. Almost every Canadian financial institution supports it, including the big five banks and most credit unions.
When you use it at a casino, you are not sending money to a stranger. The operator generates a payment request inside its cashier, you approve it through your bank’s own login, and the funds move over the same rails you would use to pay a friend back for dinner. The casino never sees your account number, and there is no card to be skimmed or declined.
One thing to understand: Interac e-Transfer and Interac eCashout are not the same product. e-Transfer works in both directions. eCashout is a separate, withdrawal-only rail that several of these brands also support. If you deposited by e-Transfer you can usually cash out the same way, but some operators route payouts through eCashout instead.
The flow is the same at every brand on this list. The only differences are the minimum amounts, which are noted in the table further down.
The table below is read from each operator’s own Canadian payment page. Where a brand publishes only “credit and debit cards” rather than naming the scheme, we have noted that in the text rather than inventing a limit.
| Casino | Interac e-Transfer deposit | Interac e-Transfer withdrawal |

Interac is the one method with complete coverage across all eight brands. Note that several of them also list Interac eCashout as a separate withdrawal-only option — see our Interac eCashout page for how that differs.
Against credit and debit cards, Interac wins on reliability. Cards are accepted everywhere on this list, but Canadian issuers decline gambling merchants often enough that it is a real friction point. Interac does not have that failure mode. Cards are marginally faster to set up the first time, since there is no bank login step.
Against e-wallets like MiFinity, the trade-off is different. An e-wallet adds a layer: you fund the wallet, then fund the casino. That extra hop can speed up withdrawals at some operators and gives you one account to manage across several casinos. Interac skips the middleman entirely, which most players prefer, but it ties every transaction to your bank statement.
Against Apple Pay and Google Pay, Interac is the more complete option. Both mobile wallets are convenient for deposits, but as our Apple Pay page sets out, they do not withdraw at every brand — and Google Pay does not withdraw at any of them.
Interac e-Transfer is the most practical way for a Canadian player to move money to and from an online casino. It is supported by all eight brands we review, it costs nothing extra at any of them, the C$10 entry point is low, and it sidesteps the card-decline problem that frustrates so many Canadian players.
If you are choosing a first deposit method and you bank in Canada, this is the one to start with. The comparison table above shows the exact limits each operator publishes.
Yes. The transfer is authorised inside your own bank’s login, so the casino never receives your account or card number. Interac is the same system Canadian banks use for everyday person-to-person payments, and it carries your bank’s own fraud protection and two-factor authentication.
Yes — all eight casinos we review support Interac withdrawals, with a C$20 minimum. Some route payouts through Interac eCashout, a withdrawal-only variant, rather than standard e-Transfer. Either way the money lands in your Canadian bank account.
None of the operators on our list charges a fee on Interac deposits or withdrawals. Your bank may charge for e-Transfers depending on your account package, though most Canadian chequing accounts now include them at no cost.
C$10 at every casino we review. The minimum withdrawal is higher, at C$20. Your bank will also have its own per-transfer and daily ceilings, which are separate from anything the casino sets.
Deposits usually credit within a few minutes once you approve the transfer in your banking app. Withdrawals take longer, but the delay is the casino’s approval and verification process rather than Interac — completing your identity checks in advance is the fastest way to shorten it.
